We welcome you at Haus Linde in our Spa town Bad Elster and offer you our garden and free Wifi. After having rebuilt completely the house adjacent to Haus Linde, we had the pleasure to open our holiday home “Sperlingslust” (“delight of the Sparrow”) during the Easter holidays of 2008. A separate entrance from the street Roßbacher Straße was built in order to count with a barrier-free access to the apartment. The garden of Haus Linde is reached directly through newly built stairs. On the wall facing the garden you will find a covered balcony over the complete length of the apartment.

Equipment of the holiday home Sperlingslust

You will find our holiday home to be a modern and comfortable 1-room-apartment for 2 (extra bed on request). The kitchenette includes a ceramic hob, stainless steel sink, fridge and dishwasher while the living room area has been made very comfortable with a fireplace and 32’’ TV.

The bright interior profits from the light wooden surfaces. The sleeping area on an open first floor has been connected with the living room area through a balustrade, creating this way an attractive and ample studio apartment. The first floor is reached by integrated fold-out stairs. As an afterglow of the over 200 years long history of the Linde, a piece of lead glass (also over 200 years old) has been integrated in the upper gable window; and the historic form of the balcony railing has been copied from the former « little Linde ».
